Greetings, I’m Niko Maheras
As a Georgia Tech Electrical Engineering graduate turned educator, I have been teaching and helping students improve their math grades for over 10 years.
I will help your student get the grades he/she desires in math, but more importantly, I will teach your student to LEARN HOW TO LEARN!

When not teaching math, you can find me playing guitar with one of my bands, skateboarding, or spending time with my dog. Is there are cooler math teacher that you know of???
Bio
After working part-time as a high schooler at Mathnasium, I knew teaching and helping others was my calling.

I made the choice to pursue a career in education after graduating from Georgia Tech in December of 2020 with a degree in Electrical Engineering.

Shortly after graduation, I helped launch and managed Mathnasium of Braselton during the 2021-2022 school year.
I then went on to become a teacher and Math Department Head at Fusion Academy Alpharetta where I created my own custom math curriculum for Algebra I/II, Geometry, Precalculus, and Calculus.
I am now a Laboratory Manager at Georgia Tech in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering where I teach basic circuits lab courses and help manage a maker's space for students to engineer projects.
I love teaching more than anything else and cannot wait to help the next student who wants to accomplish BIG THINGS!
Rock on,
Niko Maheras
