I am Niko Maheras
As a Georgia Tech Electrical Engineering graduate turned educator, I have been teaching and helping students improve their math grades for over 10 years.
I will help your student get the grades he/she desires in math, but more importantly, I will teach your student to LEARN HOW TO LEARN!
When not teaching math, you can find me playing guitar in an AC/DC Tribute Band, surfing in California, or spending time with my dog. See! Not all "math people" are nerds...
Bio
After working as a Mathnasium tutor in high school, I knew teaching and helping others was my calling.
I made the choice to pursue a career in education after graduating from Georgia Tech in December of 2020 with a degree in Electrical Engineering.
Shortly after graduating, I helped launch and managed Mathnasium of Braselton during the 2021-2022 school year.
I then went on to become the Math Department Head at Fusion Academy Alpharetta where I created and taught my own custom math curriculum for Algebra I/II, Geometry, Statistics, Precalculus, and Calculus.
I genuinely love teaching and cannot wait to help the next student who wants to accomplish BIG THINGS!
